《健身環大冒險》是以全身的動作遊玩的健身冒險遊戲，遊歷各式各樣世界的「冒險」模式，只要開始踏步，腿部固定帶便會感應到動作，遊戲內的主角便會前進。不單是可一邊遠眺多樣的景色一邊慢跑，遭遇敵人時更會進入戰鬥狀態。戰鬥中會運用Ring-Con和腿部固定帶，配合身體的實際動作出招，各式各樣的運動會化為攻擊技術"健身技能"對抗敵人。面對敵人的攻擊時，在腹肌上按壓進行防禦以減少傷害，可謂運用全身進行戰鬥。可以在短時間內進行各種運動的"輕鬆模式"、可以專注鍛鍊在意部位的"簡單"模式和讓大家一起歡聚暢玩的"小遊戲"，可以一邊玩樂一邊運動全身。如果想認真達到鍛鍊效果，可於"訓練組合選單"中選擇改善肩酸或強化下半身等不同主題，輕鬆地對運動進行排列組合。
